Today, four or five years ago, some of my friends and a well-educated young man have been asking me to write a self-life-story. It is not easy for me to comply with their request. There is a special lack of lifestyle in the Oriya language. But in my humble life there is also a dire shortage of such essential ingredients that are useful for lifestyle. In particular, I do not have the power to read the book with great enthusiasm, as the gentlemen are eager to do; So there is only one reason to continue this adventure. It is my strong belief that in the distant future many autobiographers will travel to this sacred birthplace of ours. I’m just laying the groundwork for them.
The two self-published chapters of Vyasakbi Fakirmohan Senapati were first published in the Satyavadi magazine edited by Pandit Gopbandhu Das. After the death of Fakir Mohan, it was gradually published in ‘Utkal Sahitya’ edited by Bishwanath Kar.With the exception of the first chapter published in ‘Utkal Sahitya’, all the other chapters have been published under the title ‘Senapati’s Autobiography’. Hence the name of this edition is ‘Atmacharita’.
When his son Mohini Mohan published it in 1927, it was found to be disabled. As a result, readers were unable to see the essence of ‘self-actualization’ Various collectors later edited this autobiography but could not collect a single chapter. That is’ Establishment of a girls’ school in Balasore ‘ The chapter was compiled by the Kalinga Research Academy and published daily “Time” on April 20, 2003, as given in this edition. As a result, it has become completely self-contained and intact. This has been made possible by the fact that it was taken directly from the magazine.
