The author’s voice and dialogue, which have been published in different journals at different times, have been compiled into ‘personalities and judgments’. It also has its own set of judgments on a variety of issues, starting with the lives of ordinary and extraordinary people. At the request of the late Gorachand Mishra, the eminent journalist and writer in charge of the editorial of the republican ‘Pratibha’ monthly in the 1980s, I drew a diagram of some of the common and extraordinary personal characters under the title ‘Man of the World’, who lived in this world at the time. Similarly, ‘Sambad’ weekly under the heading ‘Picture-Character’ and some other discussions have been published in various newspapers as well as broadcast from Akashwani Cuttack Center. Whether in my judgment the person is pictured or the judgment is reflected in the mirror of a peculiar time-frame, the relevance of these writings still remains.
