Yoga is a very important word in Indian philosophy. The word has been used since ancient times in the Vedas, Upanishads, Gita and Puranas. Extensive use of yoga from self-philosophy and burial to the workplace has been made in our scriptures Modern saints of India have preached the Gita Yoga all over the world. In the Gita, Lord Krishna has applied yoga in various senses, such as favor-adversity, success-failure and victory-defeat …. In all these ways yoga is called to remain self-sufficient and stable. According to Maharshi Arvindo, striving for and attaining unity with God is the essence of all yoga.
As a result of the tireless efforts of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in the past, on June 21, 2015, the whole world celebrated the first International Yoga Day together and in unison. The first Yoga Day was celebrated in 251 cities in 192 countries and the two Arab peoples joined in their respective styles. The Indian Prime Minister stunned himself everyone by practicing yoga on the highways of the capital Delhi. On that day, almost the whole world saw the path of yoga. Seeing that glorious moment made every Indian’s chest widen. It is said that the name of universal, scientific and traditional knowledge is religion and the addition of liberation from desires. Add the name of doing any work with concentration. The one who has no difference in knowledge and behavior is the real yogi. The fact is that yoga should not be limited to June 21 alone. Rather it should be part of everyday life and (school, college, defense, etc.) and it should also be humanized.
The global popularity of yoga has definitely increased since the celebration of this first Yoga Day in India’s initiative, but there is no doubt that India’s responsibility in this regard has increased more than ever before. This mind-stabilizing science is being applied in different styles in different countries of the world.Even various institutions and nobles of India are preparing it in their own way. Therefore no standard regarding yoga can be determined.Yet the internal method and philosophy of yoga are one and the same, except for external differences. It is our responsibility to introduce the whole spirit of yoga to the whole world. Many efforts are now being made in our country to simplify yoga and this book is an effort to fulfill that great purpose.
